    Bio:
Registered Nurse by training but in my heart, I have always been an alternative wellness practitioner. Certified Kripalu yoga instructor and therapist, I also teach adaptive yoga for M.S. and Parkinsons disease, Reiki, and Manual Lymphatic drainage. I enjoy painting and travel; I was a nomad before that word became popular. Thailand, India, Brazil, Peru, and the Caribbean...I have my sights set on Africa in the near future.

    Podcast Highlights:

Joie started traveling internationally with her kids when they were young, staying in places for months at a time. This inspired her nomadic lifestyle.

The pandemic was a catalyst for Joie to leave the US and settle in Oaxaca, Mexico. Loving the sense of community and culture there.

Tips for getting started. First, visiting a place you want to live is ideal. Many alternatives for housing include Housesitting, Airbnb’s and connecting with people living in the community.

Joie’s biggest takeaway is increased self-love, gratitude and trusting herself. Travel helped her learn to nurture herself and connect deeply with who she is. And learned to build and keep friends’ long term by establishing a community. Contact: serenityoftime@gmail.com

Don Kilcoyne, a versatile performer, earned his first acting paycheck in 1991 as a pirate at a local Renaissance Festival. Immersed in the pirate theme, he created environments for the New York and Maine Renaissance Faires, sang and played percussion for The Crimson Pirates for 20 years, and published three supernatural thrillers. In addition to crafting bespoke entertainments for local businesses, coaching improv, and working as a marketing creative director.
