We are bringing you conversations about topics you might feel strongly about but are too afraid to begin: how we navigate entrepreneurship as a wife and a mom without losing ourselves in either identity; we want to open the conversation on how we continue to grow in our Faith while pursuing our passions; how strong communities of women help us to grow personally and ways to foster them; and taboo subjects no one wants to bring up. You don’t need to be a business owner, a wife, or a mom to come join us: all you have to have is a desire for discussions that scratch deeper than the surface.

Where do I Begin?

Dear podcasters,

Hopefully you won’t find this review too triggering but I’ve been meaning to leave one since the beginning but wanted to see where this Podcast would go. I’m often confused when people randomly decide to start a podcast and talk about things that they aren’t properly trained or educated on and decide to try to “teach” the world things I think we all already know. There should be a HUGE disclaimer that this is all just based on your opinion, but I feel like that would crush the facade of your show. I detest the self superiority that this show exudes and loathe when people use that to try to come off as doctors, therapists and educators. First off, let’s see those credentials. The tiktokers you called out were onto something. You are in no way entitled to charge ANYONE for information that they can easily find FOR FREE on the internet or that they can get from a TRAINED PROFESSIONAL.
It’s honestly disgusting and it is a scam.
I’m hoping this will plant a seed that you can later reflect on and who knows, maybe you’ll see I’m right and you’ll thank me.
Sincerely,
Disappointed

Leah and Catherine’s podcast is real and relatable. I love listening to these ladies while meal prepping or doing the dishes. Their conversations evoke thought and give life lessons, while always keeping it positive 🙌

Common Sense

I’ve been listening to this podcast and I feel like a lot of it is stuff we all already know. It’s common sense and most of the things they take an entire episode to say can be shortened to one sentence. For me, it adds nothing to my life. I also find it funny how they mention faith as one of the things they talk about but don’t. In the personal growth episode they didn’t once mention how really the only personal growth that actually matters is your spiritual growth. I don’t buy the world’s perception of growth or the 1000 books about personal growth bc that doesn’t matter to me. It’s all rooted from your spiritual well-being. Nothing about spiritual reading was said and for me personally that’s the only things that has ever helped me. If you’re good with God, everything in your life simply follows that, and it’s disappointing they missed the mark on that topic.
There is nothing new they are adding to topics that are already talked to death. If anything they are just scratching the surface and then they end the episode.
Im sorry to say this is just isn’t it for me. It’s not terribly entertaining, it’s just back and forth agreement on things we all go through and learn from through common sense.
