No Dogma

A refreshing combo of medical professional and nutrition enthusiast. Most keto podcasts routinely bash doctors and the like for their ignorance (not necessarily unwarranted), but not here.

The best feature is the lack of zealotry and evidence based nutrition. The advice fits the evidence instead of a lot of podcasts where they are so set in their dogma they refuse to change their views in the face of clear science and choose to manipulate the data to their needs or ignore it altogether.

Different types of keto are explored here (there are many different versions for specific goals), which is a byproduct of the lack of zealotry mentioned earlier.

No idea about most of the dental geekiness, but I do now use a water pick to irrigate my teeth regularly so I must have understood some of it.

Great find!

Just started listening to this podcast after doing a search for Amy Berger. What a great find! Interesting to hear a dentists perspective on health. The mouth is an often overlooked aspect of health; and one of the most important. A good dentist is not just a "tooth doctor" but a doctor of the mouth. The health of our mouth correlates to the health of the body. Health of the mouth and airway are paramount. This doc gets it and is worth a listen.
