Not Getting Better
NBA Free Agency opened over the weekend and the Lakers “struck out” on the top free agents, and Sli broke down why the Lakers couldn’t get those major players in a purple and gold uniform. Also, some talk on the 2 newest Lakers draft picks, Dalton Knecht and Bronny James. Plus, should the Lakers just "run it back?" Sli thinks it wouldn't be a wise move. And, the Athletic's Jovan Buha on what the Lakers do now after "striking out" in free agency and the plan for D'Angelo Russell. The New Voice
Sliwa opened up the show reacting to JJ Redick’s introductory press conference as the new Lakers Head Coach. LA Times’s Brad Turner called in to talk about the expectations for the rookie head coach and what to expect with the roster in the next few weeks. Then, Sliwa played some quotes and talked about his “takeaways” from JJ presser. Also, Sli talked about how LeBron wasn’t involved in the coaching search, which is huge because the Lakers could be “looking at life without LeBron.” Plus, “Crunch Time” with talk on the big OKC/Chicago trade.

Finally Got Our Man!
The Lakers named JJ Redick as their new head coach, and Sliwa had it covered from all angles. Sli thinks JJ will be fine as the head coach, but if he isn’t, it wouldn’t be his fault but that of the front office. Sliwa also took calls on the hiring of the Lakers’ new head coach and many had the same concerns that JJ is not that experienced yet for the job. To talk more about this and other potential moves was Lakers Nation’s Trevor Lane. And then “Crunch Time” with Producer Funch and DeAndre.

Rachel Nicols
It is crazy that at the start of every game, Rachel Nichols flashes the white power symbol with her left hand, for a long time during her monologue. You can go back and check. She did it from the preseason on. She obviously does not Want to be around “those” people. It devastated my children and I when we saw it. It is awful to do to the young, full of hopes and dreams.
It is clear she wants to do something else. Let her do that something else away from our sons and daughters.
