Great Podcast

There are very few resources out here for endurance coaches as this one. Their Scholars Program provides even more context and training, as well. I appreciate you both bringing in different experts (Joe Vigil, Mike Smith (the erudite NAU coach), amongst others) gives a great view of how to get at coaching athletes at various levels.

I echo the discussion on mic etiquette, fellas, but that’s a minor correction that doesn’t lessen the overall content of this FREE resource.

Please bring on Ed Eyestone and Mike Smith after next month’s (fingers crossed) nationals. I’d love to hear their thoughts expounded upon in an open forum beyond the guesswork from the 7 minute comparison in the scholars program.

I seriously cannot thank you enough for this podcast.

Good material, not great recording conditions

Love the material covered and knowledge. It’s super distracting though when one of the hosts (or someone near them) is eating something with a crinkly wrapper, microwaving things, drinking something, etc..... I’ve had to turn off a couple episodes and delete them because the noise there is so distracting, I don’t even hear the content :(.

Outstanding Professional Resource

I’ll admit that I’m one of those terrible people who don’t “rate and review” on a regular basis, but after tuning into this podcast since it’s inception I’m compelled to do so!

These guys are unequivocally the foremost resource for running coaches in the game today. I rely on them to stay on top of the most recent research, and to break it down into and easily digestible format. They are able to dissect and disseminate this information in an engaging and easily understandable fashion.

I share this podcast on a regular basis, and the content has had a profound influence on how I’ve coached my athletes at both the collegiate and high school levels, in addition to gen pop. I thoroughly enjoy these discussions, download and consume each podcast as soon as it’s released, and consistently look to Mr. Magness and Mr. Marcus to be a “signal in the noise.”
