Shame, stigma, and subtypes - Talking OCD with Hard Quirk

For the final day of Pride Month, we're chatting with two wonderful queer humans: Ali Naimo and Maia Fattahi, the co-founders of Hard Quirk, a nonprofit for OCD advocacy and support. Have you ever made a joke about how you're "so OCD," because you like organizing your bookshelf? Yeah, that's not exactly what it's like to live with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. And you're not alone - many mental health professionals don't even understand exactly with OCD is and how it shows up. In this episod...

The Human Rights Campaign just officially declared a NATIONAL STATE OF EMERGENCY for LGBTQ+ Americans. That’s the first time they’ve ever made a declaration like that, because now THIS is the ...

Looooove

What a brave new podcast! I admit I love to listen to podcasts at 1.5 speed because I need info fast. This pod was almost enough to warrant a real speed listen. Tucker is so eloquent in how he speaks about mental health, and Cassidy asks pointed questions that help bring a new light to this space. I cannot wait for the next episode!

Beneficial, Important, Relateable

This podcast is great, much needed content. Mental health is something that still has stigma attached to it, and outlets like this podcast are beneficial and helpful in working through that. Cassidy's TV interviewing skills shine in this outlet, and her personality/style help make this often serious content relateable. It's like talking through life events with a friend. The podcast is peppered with light-hearted moments, and asks questions that are important for us to ask in our own lives. Useful information comes out of it, and I'm glad to have this new content from Cassidy.
