Debra Newell is an interior designer based in Orange County, California. She’s the founder of Ambrosia Interior Design and is a self-made multimillionaire. As a little girl, she was always sick, so she’d spend her time drawing and designing houses. She grew up in a loving family; and although her previous marriages ended in divorce, she was close with her four children. She continues to build her interior design empire today; while spreading the word about domestic abuse and how to look out for red flags. She doesn’t believe in victim shaming; so she wrote a book about her experience with her narcissistic, abusive fifth husband, John Meehan. She and her daughter Terra, use their experience to share with those who may be going through the same struggles.

Overcoming a Narcissistic Husband and the Church that Enabled Him

Today's Guest overcame a tumultuous marriage with a narcissistic husband and the Church that supported his actions. Coming straight from a religious college and community, our Guest and her ex-husband met and were groomed by the Church to be together and get married. After what she thought was the perfect pairing to the perfect man, and that they were going to change the world for the better, everything changed. From sex addiction, to gas lighting, to the Church forgiving all her husbands sins; while not listening to her needs. Our Guest later realized that she was being loved bombed, betrayed and had to navigate religious enablers who made their relationship a lot more complicated.

Running for Narcissistic Abuse Awareness w/ Vanessa Reiser

Running for Narcissistic Abuse Awareness w/ Vanessa Reiser

Vanessa Reiser was love bombed by her narcissistic ex in such an extravagant manner--like being showered with expensive gifts, to expensive cars, to a $150,000 engagement ring, and travels across the world. She didn't have time to breathe, much less clock in the red flags happening left and right. Vanessa is a therapist and works hard today to raise awareness to narcissistic spousal abuse, and started a movement by running 285 miles across the state of New York to raise awareness to their cause. Listen and learn how Vanessa was able to come up for air, evaluate and understand her situation and how she separated herself from the man that first swept her off her feet.

Vanessa is licensed in NY, NJ, MA & FL and made international headlines when she ran the entire state of New York in a wedding dress to raise awareness for narcissistic abuse in May 2021. Her days are spent supporting those traumatized by this insidious form of domestic violence.

Heidi Russell and Valentina Bajada owned an 860-square-foot second-floor walk-up - a perfect home for the two of them. They opened their space for an AirBnb to earn more money in the space, and are still facing a very tough situation where they no longer have access to their home. In this interview, told by Heidi, we will explore how a Grifter took advantage of their space. This resulted in them still not having access to their home due to tenant laws through someone who seemed nice and trusting in the beginning, but ended up being very self-serving and truly making a nightmare situation.
