Customer Reviews
Golden nugget surrounded by too much fluff
I love listening to the professionals and the panels take about their experience. I’m so thankful to have a family of podcasts to help me prepare for all stages of parenthood. The speakers are non-judgmental and realistic. I also think the headline segment and “baby oops” segments are very interesting/timely.
I usually skip forward to about the 10 minute mark. Things like ads, app reviews, and small talk beforehand drive me crazy. This is only a 30 minute show - the agenda needs to be trimmed WAY down. I can’t stand when I’m listening to a 5 minute segment only to realize at the end that it’s promoting a product I’m not going to buy.
Despite this, I’ve listened to a lot of postnatal podcasts and this is by far my favorite. When it comes to the topic at hand, it has a good balance of professional and personal advice. I feel much better prepared for what is to come.
More ads than content
You have to skip about ten minutes ahead to actually hear the content. As a new mom, I don’t have that kind of brain capacity! I dropped this podcast from my rotation because of the multitude of ads/fluff.
Too many commercials
I want to love this podcast so much because it has lots of good info and the women on hear are really knowledgeable. I like to go listen to podcasts when I’m working or driving but I can’t with this one because there are SO many commercials I’m always having to go back to my phone to fast forward! And the episodes are only like 30 minutes, so there’s 10 minutes of commercials it just isn’t enough time per episode. I have two hour podcasts that I listen to with as many commercials as this one 😩 it’s just too much.
