Welcome to "One Lump or Two?", a poignant podcast that delves into the authentic and unfiltered journey of two 30 - something women who unexpectedly discovered their shared run-in with breast cancer. Living within a stones throw from each other, Shelley and Kate, unbeknownst to them, were both diagnosed within a six-month period.
What initially began as a plea for support on social media blossomed into the weird and wonderful friendship it is today. Forged through shared shittiness, unwavering (but also definitely wavering) bravery, and a wobbly commitment to confront life's challenges.

Future Nostalgia
So we’ve kind of come to the end of our treatment stories *cue the sadness and pleas for an encore* but the series isn’t quite over yet!
It’s fair to say we were in very different stages of life when we were diagnosed, and we very much still are! So today we’re talking about life changes and future dreams. Turns out having cancer really messes with your life plans. Who knew?!

Build a Boob!
Today we’re in not so sunny Brighton talking reconstruction and unlike build a bear (is that still a thing?), you don’t get to browse the shelves for the cutest looking boob, there’s no soft heart that you kiss and put inside, and it’s certainly not a quick stuffing…
But you can name it and keep it with you forever!
Any name suggestions for Shelley’s new boob are welcome.

Just call us Wednesday Addams because today we’re chatting death.
No one really wants to think about dying but let’s be honest, we’re all going to die at some point and, having had cancer, it’s something we both think about on the reg. Honestly we’d do anything for attention. (If you’ve not watched Saltburn then sorry, you won’t get that joke but I promise it’s funny)
