The history of humanity before civilization is populated by an array of cultures throughout the millennia and across the continents. The earliest humans followed diverse customs and survival strategies, explored the unknown, adapted to exotic ecosystems, thrived in good times, and fell into oblivion in others. This podcast relates that story, starting with the origin of our species and tracing the development of human life before written records.

Perfect
It’s like I spoke this podcast into existence. I said to my husband…i just wish there was some sort of valid resource that would explain to me in chronological order how we came to be as we are now and especially what we were like as a species for thousands of years before the first civilizations. I would also love for it to be backed by legitimate sources. and then bam. here is this podcast…answering all my questions. scholarly. no unbacked emotional fluff or click bait or exaggerations. a host who can say “yeah we really don’t know for sure but here’s our best guess based on this methodology” instead of spewing random theories as fact. really easy to listen to. really informative. and i’m so appreciative.
