Real conversations about the changing nature of leadership
Scott J. Allen’s work of spreading the word about the different ways leadership manifests in our world, the different conceptions of what leadership is and can be, is so very important. It was an honor to be a small part of that exploration on an episode this year. Two of the things that I think makes Phronesis and Scott’s hosting of it extraordinary: 1. His extensive preparation. Scott does his homework and exposes himself deeply to the ideas and practices that he will be exploring with his guests. 2. He brings himself vulnerably and fully into the ideas...Scott tries them on, walks around in them, reflects on where they have shown up for him in the past, and how they are alive for him currently...and makes that available to his listeners. Bravo, Scott! Bravo, ILA!
Maturing Leadership (ADT) series is outstanding
I am a regular listener of this thought-provoking podcast. I am definitely a fan. I have especially appreciated the episodes with the contributors to Maturing Leadership: How Adult Development Impacts Leadership. Jonathon Reams and the other authors bring diverse perspectives and a range of insights that have deepened my understanding of ADT and its relevance for leadership in our complex times. Definitely worth a listen!
Not just for leaders
This is a podcast where you think it will be all "business-y", and yes, it is. But so much of what they cover can be applied to your personal life. The ideas presented, back by research, can really make you re-think the way you conduct your business and your life. Well worth the time.
