EP. 25 The Power of Hope.

EP. 25 The Power of Hope.

In this episode, I share about what's been going on in my world recently and how I was at MFR 3 in Sedona, AZ.

I talk about the importance of receiving a lot of treatment close together and why that is more beneficial than one off treatments.

I show the importance of setting realistic goals for ourselves when in treatment.

I share a special story of a woman I know in a different part of the country and how she needed help finding a myofascial release therapist near her. I know how scary it can be when you hear a diagnosis that could possibly change your life. Her story of Hope is so fun!

Sometimes we lose hope that we can ever feel better but myofascial release is a powerful tool that can help you get your life back.

How to Manifest the life you want with Emily Bourke

How to Manifest the life you want with Emily Bourke

In today’s episode I chat with manifestation and embodiment teacher and coach Emily Bourke who hosts a podcast called authentic Alchemy. We discuss how to authentically create a dream life by using manifestation and shadows to amplify our desires. We talk about the importance of focusing on what one wants and using the principle of vibration to create something new.

We discuss the concept of manifestation, which is a law and principle by which the universe works. We talk about different definitions of manifestation: one is to make real anything in the physical world, including emotions, and the other is the phenomenon of turning something that was once imagined into the physical reality by way of magic. Emily emphasizes the importance of focusing on what one wants and using the principle of vibration to create something new.

We talk about resistance to doing hard things and the importance of letting go of the mindset that everything has to be hard. We talk about the meaning we place on things that make them hard, such as "it's not possible" and "it shouldn't be done," and how it can be difficult to let go of this mindset. Emily shares her experience of overcoming resistance to do hard things by sharing her experiences with others. We talk about working with clients with chronic pain and how language can have a neutral meaning for words and experiences. We discuss the challenges of changing thoughts and beliefs about oneself, believing that they can heal and have a life that doesn't keep them bedridden or in chronic pain, and shifting internal dialogue.

A few questions in today’s episode:

-Do we have a desire to create a new life?

    -What is manifestation?

-How can we create the life we want when we surrender control and allow for more flow into our lives?

-How can we learn to shift out thoughts and words to have our ideal life?

EP. 23 Whatever is coming up is coming out

EP. 23 Whatever is coming up is coming out

EP.23 In this episode, I talk about my most recent experience at a myofascial release seminar.

I talk about the Unwinding class a few weeks ago. In this episode, I share about the unexpected loss of my beautiful friend Sherri and how that affected me during the seminar.

I talk about the importance of feeling vulnerable and witnessing our feelings. I share about how often pain, sadness, and grief go unwitnessed and how the emotions have no outlet at times.

These unprocessed emotions are eventually stored inside of the body when they are not properly felt or processed.

Whatever is coming up, is coming out.
