Road Trippin‪’‬ Blue Wire

On this edition of Road Trippin', Channing, Rich and Allie preview the 2023 NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat. Rich talks about how he believes the Nuggets are ahead of the NBA curve, and draws parallels to the early Warriors dynasty. Channing discusses how he believes the Nuggets being in the NBA Finals is good for the NBA, as they've laid the groundwork for a new culture in Denver. Rich and Channing also discuss what it's like to play at altitude in Colorado, and how it will effect Miami's stamina in the series.

Also, the crew gives praise to the Miami Heat for reaching the Finals. Specifically, Channing praises Caleb Martin who balled out in the Eastern Conference Finals. However, Richard claims the Heat may not have an answer for Nuggets star Nikola Jokic. He and Channing discuss what players must start and come off the bench for Miami in order for them to have a chance to stop Jokic. And finally, the crew gives their picks for who they think will be crowned NBA Champions in this series.

On this edition of Road Trippin', the crew takes a deep dive into the Denver Nuggets after they swept the Los Angeles Lakers to reach their first ever NBA Finals. Channing and Richard debate where the ceiling is for Nikola Jokic, and where he has the possibility to rank all-time amongst centers. Richard lists what he thinks the Serbian center would have to achieve in order to be considered in the all-time discussion.

Also, the crew talks about what a potential Nuggets/Heat NBA Finals would look like. Channing looks at the possibility of a long rest for Miami if they sweep, and whether or not the Heat should consider bringing back Tyler Herro if he is healthy. And finally, Richard gives his hot take that within the next two seasons, multiple starts in the NBA will switch teams.

On this edition of Road Trippin', the crew dives in on the stellar play of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. As good as Lakers center Anthony Davis is, he is having a hard time containing Jokic, and the crew examines why. Channing also notices how the play of LeBron James has been adjusting to try and keep up with the Nuggets, as the Lakers will now try to rally this series.

On this edition of Road Trippin', the crew starts by discussing the epic performance by the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Easter Conference Finals. Channing mentions how every player on the Heat roster is playing up to their potential because they have Jimmy Butler on their team. Richard also speculates on how Harden visiting Las Vegas during the playoffs, and his interest in extra curricular activities, has been a detriment to his play in his career.

On this edition of Road Trippin', the crew starts by previewing Sunday's Game 7 between the Celtics and Sixers.
