Genius Insights into How to Make Boats Go Fast

I love listening to Alex’s insightful interviews while driving and erging. This series is more than just a few tips and pointers from the pros. It is truly insightful into what makes boats go fast, from the greatest minds in rowing. It also is documenting coaches for the ages. These podcasts will be replayed for decades to come from legends in coaching. My only regret is that coaches who have left this world before being interviewed will not get the benefit of this record of oral history. Alex really has a keen sense of how to uncover what makes people tick. This tool is especially powerful for high school and collegiate athletes and coaches. It is also light hearted and inspirational. Many quotable moments. Even after rowing for 33 years and coaching for 24 years, I find I learn something in every episode. It also makes heroes of the sport human. Exploring and inquiring not only into the past, but what the future holds for our great sport. He is laying out a vision for what it takes to get the USA to the top of the podium and overcome challenges to grow our sport.

Can’t wait to listen each week

The Rower’s choice podcast is one that I look forward to every week. Alex DelSordo does an amazing job interviewing coaches and rowers from different levels. The insights that he and his team garner from each interview are incredibly valuable to any rower, parent of a rower and other coaches at all levels. His goal is to make rowing more popular and more accessible to the masses and through the exchange of ideas in his interviews he is well on his way to accomplishing it.
