EP85 - Cliff Pittman - A Conversation with Coach about my North Fork 50M Race
Last weekend, I raced the North Fork 50 mile race in Buffalo Creek, CO. It was a training race and I got it done, but I had some issues along the way. I thought it would be interesting for the listeners to listen in as I discussed the race with my coach, Cliff Pittman. Cliff Pittman has been a guest on the podcast before and he always brings lots of knowledge to the table. Listen in as we discuss what was good, what was bad, and what was ugly.

EP84 - Kay Bretz - Turning Right - How a Paradigm Shift Unleashed His Potential
Oh man, this is a good one. Kay (Pronounced Kai) Bretz had a paradigm shift when he decided to turn right! Kay, author of the book “Turning Right” had a 22% improvement in his 24 hour time in just 18 months and set the course record by 5 hours on the 250km (155mile) Big Red Run! What was the difference? His mindset! It was really enlightening to unpack Kay’s experience and explore the benefit of reframing how we think about training, running, and life.

EP82 - A Visit With AJW
AJW (Andy Jones-Wilkins) has been a big part of our sport for quite some time. He hasn’t been afraid to make a statement both in his competitiveness on the trails and in his writing and interviews. It was such a pleasure getting to know AJW and gain some insight into his history, methods, and mindset in ultrarunning. I know you’ll enjoy listening in as we laugh together and unpack some of what makes our sport so great.

Awesome real talk
Love it, and every episode is real talk. You feel like you’re sitting with David and his guest just hanging out. Lately, this is what has gotten me through long runs when I just don’t wanna.
This podcast has gotten me through so many long runs, if people seen me while listening they would think I was crazy, I’ll be laughing half the time, because the stuff is what we go through and understand. I highly recommend listening and really recommend if you can while running it’s wry motivating. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Have a listen, it’s good.
