What I wish I knew

I could have used this years ago. This is so easy to listen to during my train ride.

No way pre-K

The pre-K ep made me cry. As a Head Start educator for a large district in tne PNW, I take issue after issue with this teacher led, top down model. While I am thrilled to be a union member, what the NEA is promoting does a disservice to all kids, particularly post-pandemic. There’s enough kill and drill in K-12; it’s disheartening to hear the NEA promoting the same. There’s no data supporting this model, there won’t be an appropriate return on investment. Stop bringing this business school blooomberg baloney into the pre-k space. It doesn’t work.
