Deserves 10 Stars

I have two favorite podcasts, Smartless and Scrambled. I have 3 kids ranging in age from 3 to 10. My oldest was 8 before we learned that so many of his struggles were rooted in Anxiety. I’ve scoured the internet for podcasts that are informative and helpful and this is the first one I’ve found that has information and ideas that I can realistically use and apply. It’s so relatable and they keep things entertaining. Any parent would be well served to listen to this show regardless of the status of anxiety in their home.

Excellent information!

After having 2 children with anxiety, I was curious as to what they had to say. I felt so affirmed that what they described was exactly what we observed. As adults, they have started listening to these podcasts to prepare for the possiblity of their own children showing signs of anxiety. They agree that what is being described is what they felt. They also agree that early intervention- medication and the things we did to deal with it, was key to their success as teenagers and as adults.

So helpful

I originally started listening to this podcast because of knowing the hosts one personally and the other moreso just name to face. My husband and I had acknowledged early summer of 2021 that something was going on with our 6 year old son. He is showing lots of anger. We are on the wait list to see a behavioral therapist. While we wait, the episodes here have been so helpful and eye opening, particularly the episode ‘Family Matters’. Keep up the great work!
