As a fan of the show and dancer. I love listening to SLST. I am mad that the i do 2 podcast seems to populate under this title. I don’t want that on my feed.

Q’s for Fan Questions - 10/10 love the podcast! ⭐️

Ok Cheryl, I’m going to hit you with some “unique” questions to break up the pace a bit on Fan Questions 1) What do you do with a partner who has bad hygiene? Any personal stories? 2) What do female dancers do when they are on their periods? (That sounds awful btw) 3) Any horror stories or drama from the competitive ballroom world you can share with us? 4) What would you say is the best and worst thing a lead can do to make the experience better/worse for the follower? 5) What are the “non-injury injuries” that happen the most in ballroom dance? Not like an ACL tear…I’m talking toes stepped on, a kick to the nuts. What happens to guys, to girls, and which hurts most? 6) I promise I’m not a sicko with this one, just genuine curiosity from your perspective as a dancer. Super close body/groin contact + gorgeous women + men who aren’t used to dancing…does “biology” not happen?! Is this something that’s discussed with male celebs, or even just males generally in the ballroom and social dancing world? Like is that a topic that’s spoken to…how guys can prevent it, what ladies should do in response…or is that just a black box “don’t ask don’t tell” policy? 7) Do you think that a really bad dancer can ever become a great dancer? Or do you have to have a nugget of natural aptitude in there somewhere? Like could Master P go to Blackpool one day if he trained for years, or is he forever going to plateau at some threshold? Thanks Cheryl for all your hard work and I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season! Cheers, Taylor without Instagram
Height and partner dancing
Dec 12
The show has been showing that celebs of different body types can dance, but they still haven’t cast a female celebrity who is significantly taller than her male pro. I’m tall and took a ballroom class recently and a couple men there constantly made jokes about how much taller than them I was and it was very annoying and I haven’t taken another class since. Why should only the female pros have the challenge of a taller partner? Where’s Sasha’s WNBA player? They’ve had amputees, deaf people, larger people, little people, seniors, why not a taller woman? Not someone the same height or a little taller than Gleb, but someone at least a couple of inches taller. There’s got to be a really tall model or WNBA player who would do the show.
