Pleasantly surprised

I listen to a lot of true crime and wanted to take a break and listen to some health podcasts and I hadn’t been able to find the right one and at first I wasn’t sure I was gonna like this one but I listened to one and then I found when I listened to the next one I really enjoyed it and then I just power listened through season one. A lot of great information. Funny, I was so happy to hear about small plates which I did on my own I never heard any research about it and it helped me lose 20 pds. I had just decided to do it one day. I didn’t like having a big plates it made me feel like I wasn’t eating enough food or too much food.

Plant based nutrition ,

Bring on the science!!

Although this podcast is several years old, it is new to me. I previously followed Lindsay Nixon’s Supreme Slimdown Blueprint (several years ago) and am now doing it again before I sign up for her latest slimdown group program. Lindsay’s website pointed to this podcast and after listening to several episodes, I have to say…I LOVE it. It’s all about the science! Having read so many books on diets and nutrition through the years, I have zero interest in anything fad-like. Also, so many weight loss programs are geared to meat eaters and can’t be adapted easily to plant based eaters. Lindsay’s episodes are educational and break through misconceptions and misinformation. I really hope she resurrects the podcast.
