They actually do the opposite for folks with ADHD, I was diagnosed at 36 & my medication actually make me exhausted. When I told my psychiatrist this at my followup she state this is how she knows who truly has ADHD & who does not. It shouldn’t hype you, but calm the brain enough to focus on everything else around you.

Payton!!! I love you so much! I have been listening to you both for a while now. I am always impressed by your story telling abilities. Even if I am very familiar with a case, I still thoroughly enjoy listening to your deep dives. I also am grateful for your openness with your mental health struggles. My 20 year old daughter introduced me to podcast and now I have introduced my husband and 12 year old as well. You guys make road trips & plane rides fly by. We can’t agree on a radio station but we all agree on MWH. My oldest even got a Strangy Dangy t-shirt as a gift for her little sister. Favorite gift no doubt.
