Customer Reviews
Great listening!
I enjoy eavesdropping on the lives of two experts in the UX field and learning from their experiences. Some are funny and some are very helpful. Thanks for sharing your insight so others can benefit!
Hilarious and Insightful
Great repoire between the co-hosts!
The episode on Phenomenology with guest Drew was super insightful into how military backgrounds can carry into corporate America, as well as how a UX Program Manager functions in this space.
Jessamyn is hilarious - loved her back and forth with Meg and the guest, Drew. Was laughing out loud when I wasn’t learning something new.
Best UX podcast for enterprise designers
I love this podcast. There are a lot of UX and Design podcasts out there, but the reason this is my favorite is because:
1. They have interesting and fun guests from across the industry, and I appreciate the diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and company-design-culture insight that these folks bring to the conversation.
2. The topics they cover are very relevant to enterprise designers. This isn’t a “learn how to be a designer” podcast - it’s called Surviving UX for a reason! That’s not to say that non-designers or budding designers shouldn’t listen to it, but it’s nice that this podcast has a specific audience in mind for their voice and tone, and it allows them to explore topics and have deeper conversations because there is an assumption their audience is already familiar with design concepts (and struggles!)
3. It feels REAL. Jessamyn and Meg have such a great repoire and it’s so fun to hear their dynamic. I find myself laughing as much as learning whenever I listen!
4. It’s the perfect amount of time. I can listen to an episode on a commute and not have to break it into multiple listens. This is huge for me personally, as so many podcasts have multi-hour episodes, and “ain’t nobody got time for that!”
All in all, if you’re a current designer (or interested in design) and want a realistic, fun, and thought provoking view of what life is like as a designer - this is the podcast you need to be subscribed to!
