This podcast deserves major success, it’s THAT fun!
This is my favorite podcast. I love the genre and I like loads of podcasts. But, THIS podcast is so genuine, so whacky and downright hilarious. I appreciate that Gabe and Tasha have been friends for a long time and I feel like their letting me in on that friendship.
The hosts talk about everyday stuff like their regular lives, as if I’m familiar with John, or Darla. And, the tattoo shop Gabe works at, in fact if the Tattoo shop would sponsor this podcast - I’d go…just to meet Gabe. Also, Tasha has an amazing voice, I love it when she sings.
For some reason this podcast just brings out the ‘theater kid/nerd’ I was from high school and university.
Gabe and Tasha are keen to make sure that the stories are told with sensitivity and kindness. Which I appreciate. But, I wish everyone would just relax in that aspect just a bit.
Overall I’m so sad when the podcast is over for the week, or when they take a break. I feel like I’ve got to say goodbye to my new friends…u til the next episode. I’m then in the mode of checking and rechecking to see if another episode has dropped.
I wish them wild success, I just truly hope if they find the success they so richly deserve, that they don’t change. That some company doesn’t try to change what they do because what they do, well it’s marvelous.

Episode Mean, Season 5 Episode 17, I believe there was a phrase used that makes me cringe; “white girl victim mode”. I hear phrases and statements akin to this on the show sometimes and I wonder why can’t the race/color of someone be left out, unless it’s germane? Other than that I like this podcast better than another SVU themed podcast I’ve listened to. I like the friendship and banter between Gabe and Tasha. I still have to listen to see if I missed the origin of “Toyota”, but I have a backlog of episodes because I’ve only known about this podcast for about a year. Today’s episode “Hooked” was very difficult to listen to Tasha go on and on about brassy hair (who cares?) and sound so incredibly judgy while commenting how judgy the shows characters are.
