Talk to Ma! Podcast is a loving, trauma informed, safe space for young adults ages 18-35 to heal and discuss real, hard issues that effect your life and the world! I am Suzan Henriquez. I am a Crisis and Trauma Counselor with over 25 years of experience in mental health and trauma healing. I am also a Latina from the Bronx, a healer, Spiritual Teacher, Oracle Reader, storyteller, Goddess, Bruja, writer and creative force of nature and many other “labels,” that the world tries to stick on us! In this episode, I speak with Quanner, Boomer, and Gabe Brookes. Quanner's charisma and stage presence have led him to perform alongside established artists such as Wale and Big Sean, a testament to the rising star's undeniable talent. Boomer is a local CT talent whose incredible energy and talent has electrified all of CT. He is touring in Atlanta, CT, and Michigan to name a few cities. He recently won 1st place at CrowdFreak, Atlanta.
Gabe Brookes is a musical artist, beatmaker, videographer, and photographer who has worked all across CT and more! His love and passion are evident in everything he does! He wrote the intro for my podcast too so check him out!

The Trifecta is a poetry collective comprised of three artists based in Connecticut. The three artists include Julian Mein also known as "Brother Bear, a Hartford native," Darius Martin known as "Oso, native of Hamden and Phillip C. Alexander a Bridgeport native. Brother Bear is a Hartford native and founding member of the poetry collective.
