Comedian and former school teacher, Orlando Baxter, interviews guest from around the world, to discuss their favorite teachers, and the impact they had on their lives and careers.
Benjy Thames Interview
This episode I was able to interview one of Massachusetts brightest stars in the hair salon business, Worcester’s own, Benjy Thames. With a loyal following throughout the New England area, and an online presence stretching from the US to Haiti, Benjy and her BTrendy Hair Studio are helping people look fabulous, one hair appointment at a time.
Mike Meyers Interview
You ever have a friend who always supports your dreams and ideas no matter how crazy they are...You could be like “Im thinking about quitting my job and becoming a pirate,” and they’ll be like “well what kind of pirate are you talking about? Because I got eye patches for every occasion.”
My next guest, Michael Meyers, isn’t that crazy but he’s definitely that type of friend. A year ago in Chicago I asked if I could interview him for a podcast I was thinking about doing and before I could say “never mind, I’ll find someone better” he said what he always says, “OB, I got you.”
Because that’s the type of friend he’s been to me since we were both college students at Holy Cross. Super supportive, always positive and a little bit delusional, especially when it comes to his basketball skills. I remember one time he told me that “the backboards in the South, absorb the basketball better than the backboards in the North” and the only thing I could think at the time was “Mike...just make the damn layup! It’s bad enough you’re bricking every shot!”
Anyway here’s the interview that we did a year ago. It’s funny, it’s raw, and it’s all about my brotha Mike’s favorite teachers, especially the one that gave him the freedom to hold his pencil like a rebel.

Episode 2 - This episode I sat down with comedian, blogger, YouTuber, and Instagram Influencer Sarah Blodgett, to talk about her journey from shy school girl to a body positive “Everyday Starlet.”
Get ready to laugh and be inspired, Teachers w Candy, presents...Sarah Blodgett.
Orlando Baxter Interview
Episode 1 - After weeks of contemplating over who should be my first guest on my new podcast, I decided to do something very different and have my 8 year old niece Annaliese interview me as the first guest. At the time it sounded like a pretty good idea because I was drinking but as soon as we started recording and I heard the nervousness in her voice I knew that this was going to be a challenge. But it honestly wasn’t, she blossomed into a confident young interviewer right before my eyes and I could not have been any prouder.
This episode is short, sweet, and funny just like Annaliese. And I hope you all like it as much as we enjoyed doing it.
