Opportunities to learn
I can never be everywhere I want to be including these classes from Temple Beth Am in LA. These podcasts have given me opportunities to learn at my own pace, listen and immerse myself in my Elul practices. Thank you for these beautiful teachings.
Temple Beth Am Elul Series Cheahbom Nefesh & Anavs with Rabbis Richard Camaras and Rebecca Schatz
This was a compelling and meaningful lesson in how to put others first even when our instinct may be to tune them out or put them off. We know humility requires us to refrain from bragging and display modesty. But Rabbi Camras taught about Anava as a way to hear the needs of others and to try and respond in recognition of those needs. Very significant lesson that is having a direct impact on me. Thank you!
