You can’t do better than this weekly roundup to stay up to date with Israeli culture and politics. The music is a bonus and has greatly diversified my Spotify list. I only listen to the Promised Podcast on the erg (rowing machine) but it probably sounds good on other fitness machines. Thank you Noah and team!

Great podcast!

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the PP for about 3 years now, since I began planning a late Aliyah. High quality journalism, educational, deprecatingly funny, and frequently incredibly moving. Beginning in 2020 I plan to split my time between IL and the US, and I feel far better prepared for more realistically integrating into Israeli life armed with what I have gleaned from the PP. I’ll have to let you know how the reality is, tho you will have to remove my gag if I come visit!
Thanks to all of the team for your hard work.
One suggestion. I make a modest contribution- which I should ofcourse increase. I, personally, would not object to a topic discussion on the financial aspects of podcastery. I know zero.

More frozen seafood from AM:PM, please

My only complaint about the Promised Podcast is that it does not have enough stories about frozen salmon, dot dot dot ... Thank you Noah, Allison, and Don (and other occasional hosts) for such a fantastic podcast, week in week out. An indispensable guide to life in Israel, and a wonderful weekly love letter to Tel Aviv-Yafo, the city we know and love.
