New listener started at season 01 episode one and am at season 02 episode 21. And each episode is better than the last really appreciate you perspective and approach.

While the information is good the host stumbles and often makes mistakes. Pretty clear he is just reading instead of organically sharing the information.

I am a female in my 30’s who loved history in school. I just recently found this podcast. I throughly enjoy it. I love how the host explains things in a mostly unbiased way and in terms almost anyone can understand. It’s definitely easy to listen as I frequently turn it on while walking or driving. P.S. as a nursing home social worker, I love the bit in season 3 about Jane adams, who is often taught in social work classes as the founder of our profession.

This podcast is awesome! It's super interesting and easy to follow. Definitely worth listening to.

Why do you say “before current “?

This podcast does a great job explaining different events throughout history. I really enjoyed how he puts his input while saying the facts of the time period. It helps express a point of view of a different perspective. Overall a well put together summary of each time period.

Great podcast, explained with detail yet making it understandable and entertaining.

There’s a clear improvement in audio and overall quality when comparing later episodes to more recent ones. This podcast lacks stagnation and is always improving its production which is something many can appreciate. One note: The host is everything!! History is difficult to engage in for many people, but a personality gives listeners someone to attach to. Keep in mind your target audience when playing up or toning down your personality. (EX: ‘the broski report’ - caters to college women/gays. ‘Joe Rogan experience’ - caters to young men late high school/college age.) You can hear the distinction between the podcasts and can immediately tell who the personalities are catering too. While some may lose interest in the history, the host and their personality keeps them coming back, even if the episode isn’t about something they’d normally be interested in.

I was never a big history person but Shawn Warswick immediately caught my attention! I unexpectedly found myself immersed in each episode. Good job and keep up the good work!
