Great Entertainment but horse blinder’s on debate

So enjoy your commentary and storytelling. Your life experience brings much common sense with humor at every turn. Your discussion of the debate and the media coverage hit hard on coverage of Biden’s faults. Just think your apparent bias for the other man on the stage, failed your voice of usual candor. You could have at least mentioned the avalanche of bovine scat that emanated from his mouth? Lie after lie and where was it reported on Fox News of the right choice. Trump’s ramblings are just as noteworthy of not being noteworthy of the right media circles. You called it a true strike against Biden, I just wish your wisdom would have called the strike for Trump as well. Enough said…. Enjoy your podcast and will keep listening.

Phenomenal Podcast

Congressman/Commissioner/Senator/Chancellor: You have the most educational, entertaining and phenomenal podcast. As a member of the Tx Legislature who lives 4+ hours from Austin, my Wife and I listen to your podcast from Woodville and to Austin. Even our Dog Shady likes the podcast and doesn’t complain about wanting to go to the restroom. I have an observation. Why does it seem that when a member of the Texas House retires from the Legislature his/her title doesn’t follow him. But when someone moves along from the Senate or even from being Chancellor or Mayor people will address him/her as Senator or Chancellor or Mayor Also what’s your perspective of the “conventional wisdom.” Six terms in the Legislature the so called “conventional wisdom” seems wrong all the time. James White

Congressman/Commissioner/Senator/Chancellor: As you, I am not very high on name changes. If we just had to change the name of one of our military installations, the naming one in honor of General Cavazos is extremely fitting. Compared to some of the other Confederate Generals, General Hood and his unit did record a strong fighting performance record. For instance, Gen. Bragg, at best, was average. Nevertheless Gen. Cavazos was my role model as a young ROTC cadet and eventually as an officer. His progression through the military ranks is very similar to many many young officers who started in ROTC at one of our state-supported universities. Cavazos represents the best Texas has to offer to our great nation and I am so proud that many many young people for generations will hear his name and be inspired by his accomplishments.

Want to feel good?

If you're listening to a lot of serious podcasts--I like true crime--and just want a break and hear a guy tell you some funny stuff that'll make you smile, then this is the one for you. I just listened to him talk about colorful sports people and some things they said and did. Good stuff. He keeps it clean, too.
