What’s really in the products we use and buy every day? Is it possible to change our own health by becoming more thoughtful consumers?
I’m your host Shannon Lohr and I’m an entrepreneur, mother and clean living advocate who thinks a lot about what I buy -- especially when it comes to home, food and beauty.
For most people, it’s overwhelming to sift through research about parabens and sulfates when you’re just trying to make it through the day, put dinner on the table and get the kids to bed.
But there is so much that we don’t know about the products we use daily. We don’t know who to trust, which ingredients to avoid, what to switch to and which companies are greenwashing a lie.
With mini episodes under 10 minutes, The Clean Living Podcast explores how to live a more sustainable life without guilt, shame or overwhelm. I truly believe that taking charge of the wellness in our own homes is a huge step in changing the world.

The perfect Podcast for busy moms!
I have an 3 1/2yr old autistic daughter that was diagnosed a year ago and I have been trying to change so many aspects in our lives to help her overcome some of her challenges. My goal this year was to completely change our diet to strip away all preservatives and then I found this pod cast! I had no idea what a toxic life we were living! Shannon has opened my eyes to the EWG, easy ways to live clean and replacement products that are affordable. All episodes are quick, to the point and packed with amazing info that makes my busy mom life easier and has raised my hopes to help my daughter. Thank you Shannon! I can’t wait until you’re back!!
I love these helpful and informative episodes. The length is perfect and you leave with actionable items that are generally easy to adapt! Shannon’s journey toward clean living is backed with relatable anecdotes and supportive facts that make it easy to make small changes that have a big (and lasting!) impact.
I’ve always thought of myself as fairly knowledgeable about clean living, but I am already learning a ton from these episodes! They are short, entertaining, and always leave me looking forward to the next topic. A must-listen for everyone!
