Mnemonist2022 ,

Focuses mostly on memory sports techniques

I wish this podcast would emphasize more practical applications of memory systems. For example, what are some smart approaches to memorizing world history? How should I organize my memory palaces for that? What about memorizing judicial decisions for law school? How would I arrange my memory palaces for that task?

It’s a small minority of people who wish to memorize hundreds of random digits or words - only to throw away the information minutes later. Most people interested in memory improvement would rather augment their ability to remember people’s names. Or improve their test scores. Or they wish to remember more of what they read.

Unless you’re a memory athlete or aspiring to be one, this podcast probably isn’t for you.
