Timely info for the time I needed it

I found The Dad Edge Podcast at the right time. My marriage wasn’t where I wanted it to be and my relationship with my wife and my daughter were not where I wanted them to be. Then I started to dive deep with this podcast. The information and encouragement I’ve received has been life-changing!

Success is closer than you think

Well first of all I have listened to many episodes from this podcast. With that being said every single time some how you do what you are set out to do Larry. You find away to make me a better husband, farther and friend. Sometimes it the guest you have on your podcast that says something that opens my eyes, makes me look at the situation from a different point view. Which none of this would have happened if you didn’t start this business. So out of all the episodes this 17 minute episode of you just talking hit home for me. I had a terrible morning with my wife, which hasn’t happened since I joined the Dad edge. We have come along way in our marriage, but after this morning everything we had worked on just felt like it had gone away and we where back to the old us. During your podcast you said something on the lines that, I bet there are a lot of dads who feel like they are trying and doing everything they can but they feel like there back is against the wall and you wanted to just tell us that its not that you are actually much closer to success thank you think. Well I was actually in the middle of running because I didn’t want to fight with my wife anymore and I had to stop and and really take in what you just said. That this was just a speed bump. This morning we hit that speed bump full speed sparks flying and loud noises. If you have ever done that in a vehicle you know that feeling like dang that was dumb and now I possibly damaged something. Well just like that reference thats how I felt about our fight. But once I stopped got out of the car looked at the damage it was nothing but a scratch. I got back home and we talked about how we ended up in the fight and how we should slow down and look at what we can do to prevent us from hitting that speed bump at full speed. What we could do to slow and and cruise over that speed bump the right way. All of this was made possible because you said the right thing, during a podcast you said you didn’t really even know why you were making it. Just hoping it would help someone out. Well if it did and I just wanted to say Thank you!

Changed my life

Wanted to thank you personally. I had a rough childhood and wanted better for my kids but I only knew what not to do, had no clue what being a good dad looked like. Until I found your show! I have now an amazing relationship with my kids and a marriage I’ve only seen on TV. Keep doing what your doing, your right where God wants you brother.
