Customer Reviews
Confused by recent NYT times hate
I do not understand all this recent review bombing of the New York Times daily, especially when it comes to their reporting of the Israeli Gaza war. People say that the New York Times is supporting a genocide, but every episode that they have devoted to the war they have repeatedly shown both sides. May 17th’s episode where they had an Arabic, a Zionist, and a token Jewish student Describe their views on the war, is some of the best reporting I ever heard since this conflict has broken out. It seems to me that the recent New York Times hatred is people being upset that the news hasn’t taken a stance on the war. However, I believe this is exactly what all of us need. To realize that the world is nuanced, and there is no one right answer.
Hamas’s attack ion October 7 was abhorrent and the way the Israeli government is defending itself is also abhorrent. There is an incredibly complicated history between these two societies and I for one appreciate all the New York Times does to report what is going on between Israel and Palestine. You may not like the facts that are being presented to you, but that doesn’t mean you should call this news source biased for presenting facts that are counter to your worldview. if you stop and listen, you will realize that they have also reported facts that Israel is committing genocide.
Keep up the good work, and thank you for all that you do.
Stop pushing “the Interview”
I like the Daily during the week, but now they’ve been dropping an interview episode in on the weekends. I didn’t come here for that. Put it on your own app in a separate feed.
I wish they would have a subscriber edition, like the Washington Post does. I pay for the paper. It would be nice to link my subscription and not have to listen to ads.
Patrick Kingsley Vocal Fry
Every time they have Patrick Kingsley on the show, his extreme vocal fry physically hurts my ears. It reverberated in my headphones in a terrible way.
