    Ep. 63: Self-Doubt

Self doubt is the lack of belief in one’s self and one’s abilities.

Do you find that you believe in others, but believing in yourself is so much harder?

Do you want to believe in yourself? Become more confident? And quiet the negative voices in your head, but you find yourself thinking, ‘How do I do that? How do I overcome self-doubt?’

What if you didn’t have to get rid of it? What if you could thrive WITH it?

Listen to today’s podcast to learn just how to do that.

Ep. 62: Teaching Thought Work to Others

Ep. 62: Teaching Thought Work to Others

One of the most common questions that I get about thought work is this:
“How do I teach this to others? My husband really needs this."
It makes sense that you would want to share something you love with those you love, right?
The problem arises when they just aren’t interested in learning about it.
    Now what?
Listen to today’s episode for how to navigate teaching thought work when those you love don’t accept it the way you hope they will.

    Ep. 60: Asking for Help

    Ep. 60: Asking for Help

Anyone who has put a spouse through medical training knows that it takes a certain amount of grit and determination to survive those years.

Moving far from family, managing the home almost completely by yourself, and living on a limited budget are no joke.

There is often a sense of pride in “doing it alone.”

And we sometimes wear it like a badge of honor.

But what if believing we have to do everything on our own is creating a lot of stress and overwhelm?

Ep. 59 The Judgments of Others

Ep. 59 The Judgments of Others

Do you find yourself tensing up when you mention going on vacation to a friend and she says, “That must be nice to be able to afford to go away like that.”?
When we believe we are being judged by others, it is human nature to put ourselves on the defensive.
Learn what you can do instead of putting yourself on the defensive.
It’s a must listen if there is any relationship in your life that you would like to improve.

Fabulous

Doctors wife or not the concepts and ideas Sara brings up are fantastic. I find myself able to apply them in my everyday relationships with my kids and spouse. I’ve found myself adopting a few of the phrases and repeating them in my head through the day. I love that it’s quick and very applicable. Worth my time.

Crashin’ the party

I’m not married to a doctor but I stick around for Sara’s easy to digest tips and down-to-Earth views. I feel like I’ve known her forever and that she knows (and genuinely loves) me. Make space in your life for Sara. You’ll be glad you did.
