Claire Pelletreau was just starting to grow her side business as a Facebook ad and marketing consultant when her full-time job disappeared. Desperate to land enough clients just to pay the bills, she was disappointed at how difficult it was to find real tactical advice that would help actually her get paid month to month. The Get Paid Podcast is Claire’s attempt to pull back the curtain on the reality of running an online business. All these people pulling in “six figures” - how are they ACTUALLY doing it? What kind of money do they take home after expenses? What are those expenses, anyway? Are they truly “solopreneurs” or are they supported by a team? What does that team do for them? How are they marketing their offerings and growing their lists? How long did it take to get to where they are? You’ll discover how different entrepreneurs get paid and what it costs them to bring in that money.

Internal Debate: Did I make a Huge Business Mistake?
I’ve made a lot of decisions in my business that, upon reflection, I’m not always sure I’d do again.
But, this particular choice really has me thinking. It might be one of my biggest regrets.
That is…raising my prices too soon.
It's not necessarily the choice, but the hastiness and motivation behind price changes. The lesson here is to discern whether you're actually initiating a new strategy or reacting to your unresolved money and selling fears.
It was a combination for me. So, I’m laying it all out there today to tell you my exact thoughts, as of today, and what I plan on doing going forward.
This Week on the Get Paid Podcast:
The original pricing of Absolute FB Ads and why it was so low
Why I went through so many price points and what I think about it now
When pricing is and is not a strategy - and often there’s more to look at before you make big changes
Learning to take the entire context of your launch and audience building into account before making big decisions
Why we should be collecting case studies like yesterday
Why I’m still happy with my current prices and what it took to get there
