    Daisy's Story : "Once a Rapist, Always a Rapist"

    Daisy's Story : "Once a Rapist, Always a Rapist"

Today Jan is joined by Daisy who is here to share her story of abuse and how she's transformed it into a cause. Daisy's story is one of being abused by those she should have been able to trust only to have that security ripped away at the age of 12, then have to endure the torture after pictures were circulated around school, and finally how she has decided to stand up and tell her story, and has reached out to other survivors to share their stories in her book-in-progress "The 97%".

If you would like to submit a story or poem for Daisy's book contact her through her email: daisywilliams812@gmail.com

JamieLynn (Part 2) : Overcoming the Shame of Incest

Today Jan is joined again by JamieLynn, a speaker who has been on stage at DEBx to discuss thriving after sexual abuse as well as the organizer for the Breakthrough and Thrive Summit, for part 2 of her journey. For the more solution based half of this podcast JamieLynn goes into what tools she intuited about healing, how finding out about the lexicon around spirituality and self-help gave her voice the language to speak out, and how needing someone around to care about her wasn't just optional, but necessary for her healing.

Courageous

Jan Broberg and her family are such inpressive people, especially considering all they have been through and how they use those experiences to help others. The Jan Broberg Show provides many people who have been through this type of trauma with education and suggestions for healing. I cannot recommend it enough! Jan is courageous and admirable, as are the guests appearing on the podcast. If you or anyone you know has suffered this type of trauma or just want to educate yourselves on prevention and what these struggles are like, this will be a fantastic podcast to listen to!
