Do not despair! Just Do THIS to stay on your weight loss journey if your weight goes up and then you won't lose your momentum.

    What's THIS?

    Good question! When I say Do THIS, I mean examine what you did and what you didn't do over the past 7 days that led up to your 7-day weigh in. What I mean is, being completely honest with yourself, did you follow your healthy lifestyle plan to the letter meal to meal, or did you stray? If you did stray, when and where did you stray?



    NOTE: this instruction is only for you if you are following a healthy eating plan that works for your body over time. This solution is not for you if you are trying to use a fad diet to lose 20 pounds in two weeks or if you have no structure, no healthy lifestyle habits, and you're struggling to get started. If you're out-of-control with your eating, maybe you're having problems with binge eating, emotional eating, or mindless eating, then it makes sense that your weight will go up.



    But if you are actively striving to change, to change your lifestyle, to lose weight for good, then what I share in today's free weight loss podcast can help you avoid throwing in the towel and instead, stay on track with your weight loss journey.

    Comfort eating can be subtle, so subtle that you might miss how big of a problem it's become, until it's a really big problem. The comfort eating conundrum is another problem that grows out of the subtle creep of comfort eating over time. The comfort eating conundrum can hold you back indefinitely from your weight loss goals while it lulls you into a false sense of comfort, in your comfort zone.



    This right here is the conundrum: comfort eating occurs in your comfort zone. But guess what?



    Here's what: you have to leave your comfort zone in order to lose weight.

    That's right: you've gotta leave your comfort zone in order to lose weight. This means you will get uncomfortable, feel uncomfortable, and be uncomfortable during periods of your weight loss journey.







    Why?



    Because you must do something different in order to get new results, and this will require getting uncomfortable. BUT if you slide back into comfort eating because you feel uncomfortable doing new things so that you'll be able to lose weight.... then guess what?



    Yep, make another guess: what comes next?

    Here's what comes next: if you slide back into comfort eating to try to soothe your discomfort due to feeling uncomfortable while making changes to lose weight, then how will you lose the weight?



    It's a conundrum! The comfort eating conundrum must be shattered though, it must be solved, it must be beaten, if you truly want to lose weight for good.

    How to Reach your Goal Weight before 2025Would you love to reach your goal weight before 2025? It's possible! But there are a few conditions.



    First, you must have 60 pounds or less to lose because there's only so much time left in the year.



    Second, this is all dependent on when you are reading these words. You see, this free weight loss podcast episode is the May 30 episode of The JoLynn Braley Show and based on this timing there is enough time left before 2025 to lose 60 pounds in a sane, healthy, holistic manner.



    But if you are reading these words and it's October for example, then you won't have enough time to lose 60 pounds before 2025, you'll need to do the math to adjust for how many weeks are left in the year and then multiply those weeks times two to account for the realistic goal of releasing two pounds of fat per week.
