The Male Perspective on Divorce with Rob Roseman The Divorced Woman's Guide Podcast

    • Relationships

In divorce, men are generally believed to move on faster than women – going off and getting married quickly.
However, this isn’t always the case.
Some men continue to struggle alone, without a community and resources.
Rob Roseman used to be one of them, leading him to create WTFDivorce – to help other divorced men rise from the pain and choose their happiness.
Tune in to this episode on The Male Perspective on Divorce with Rob Roseman.
Key points covered in this episode:
✔️ Start dating to exercise your confidence muscle. It isn’t the right solution all the time. But also, you shouldn’t wait until you’re at your “perfect self” to start. This helps you learn how to set boundaries and get a feel for what you truly want.
✔️ Find resources. Give yourself grace after not being in the dating scene for decades. Learn from dating coaches. Watch podcasts and read books. Gather as much knowledge to strengthen your filter.
✔️ Diversify and find friends. Nothing’s stopping you from building friendships! It doesn’t have to be hard. Join hobby-related groups. Ask questions. Validate the other person.
✔️ Find time for self-care. Coparenting can burn you out if you don’t rest. Sometimes, you have to say no to your kids for your mental health. Then, you can come back as a better parent every time.
✔️ You can choose your happiness. Dear divorced men, you’re not alone! Groups DO exist. And this divorce will bring you more opportunities in the new chapter of your life.
