The More Freedom Foundation is trying to save the world every week.

We’re at an odd point in history. We could be on the cusp of a new Golden Age, or we could be marching down the path to World War III. Despite the picture presented by most of our media, the world really is in great shape. The world is governed by US power and a set of institutions that have largely succeeded in bringing about unparalleled peace and prosperity. The only country strong enough to tear down this Pax Americana is the US itself.

    Peter Zeihan Debunked 2

    Peter Zeihan Debunked 2

Rob and Ruairi dissect the not-so-prescient forecasts made by geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan back in 2010. Strap in as we explore the following: https://www.businessinsider.com/stratfor-predictions-for-the-next-decade-2010-1

    The Zeihan Prophecies:

Rewind to a decade ago when Zeihan confidently painted a vivid picture of the world’s future. From China’s impending collapse to the unraveling of global supply chains, Zeihan’s crystal ball was fairly controversial.
We’ll revisit his bold claims and examine how they stack up against the actual events that unfolded.

    China’s Meltdown:

Zeihan’s recurring prediction of China’s imminent collapse has become a familiar refrain. But did the dragon really stumble as he foresaw?
We’ll dive into the nuances, separating fact from fiction, and discuss whether China’s trajectory aligns with Zeihan’s dire warnings.

    Middle East Missteps:

Zeihan’s insights on the Middle East were equally striking. He warned of seismic shifts triggered by American actions.
However, with hindsight, we’ll explore how America’s decisions—intentional or inadvertent—may have altered the course of history in the region.

    The Art of Being Wrong:

Zeihan’s style is unapologetically confident, but even the most astute analysts can miss the mark.
We’ll dissect where Zeihan’s predictions veered off course, acknowledging that the geopolitical landscape is often more complex than any crystal ball can reveal.

    Lessons for the Future:

As we reflect on Zeihan’s hits and misses, we’ll discuss the importance of humility in forecasting.
Perhaps the real lesson lies not in being right all the time, but in learning from our missteps and adapting our perspectives.

Join us as we unravel Zeihan’s geopolitical tapestry, while shining a light on the moments when the crystal ball grew cloudy. Tune in to The More Freedom Foundation Podcast for a candid exploration of foresight, fallibility, and the ever-evolving world stage.

Much respect to your work and commentary, I have found myself enjoying this content more and more as time goes on. I feel like you tend to leave a fair deal of open ends of discussion, but that in itself can be thought provoking and riveting at times.
