We are April and Scott, creators of NaughtyGym.com and this is the Naughty Gym Show.
For years we’ve been fitness and nutrition coaches to thousands of people through our commercial gyms and online platform. We’ve also spent nearly a decade in an ever-evolving, open relationship.
This show brings together our two biggest passions, fitness and sex positivity. Our mission is to maximize the physical, emotional, and sexual health of the sex positive community.
We have demolished our old ways of thinking about relationships and from that rubble built a life full of happiness, adventure, and vitality. And now we want to help you do the same.
So hop on the treadmill, start the show, and let us teach you how to Never Stop Playing.

April's 1st Date - the Recap
After exploring the possibility of separate dating for about a year, one of us finally gets to do it. April went on her date and we recap it live on the podcast only 10 hours after the date was over. Somehow we managed not to discuss it until we turned on the mics and started talking the next morning. You'll get to hear us process the whole thing in real time.
Additionally we made separate small audio clips each day over the last week leading up to the date. Neither of us knew what the other was saying or how we were feeling. And ultimately, we get into an argument.
Listen in as we explain the process, the argument, and recap all the dirty details of an incredibly interesting first foray into the world of separate dating! -
Aggressive Dieting & Jealousy Kinks with Martin MacDonald
Famed UK clinical nutrition scientist, philosopher, and April's apparent new boyfriend, Martin MacDonald is back on the show. This time we are going into detail about his evidence based Aggressive Diet Program to talk about how he is using science to prove you can lose a LOT of fat in a relatively short period of time.
In the process of nerding out about nutrition we get sidetracked several times by descriptions of our private WhatsApp conversations with Martin and his girlfriend Alex and some of their hilarious stories about his jealousy kink.
If you have an upcoming Lifestyle event and need to lean out in the safest, fastest way possible, your going to love this episode. It's long but absolutely worth it. -
Non-Monogamy: The Art of Saying "No" To Play
In this episode we tackle the difficult topic of saying "No" when someone propositions you with play when you aren't interested.
It is always tough to hurt someone's feelings but it is unavoidable in consensual non-monogamy. Learning to be direct while simultaneously being polite is difficult but doable.
In this episode we discuss when to say "no," how to say "no," and how to receive a "no." Most importantly we give you advice on how to craft a single response you can automatically use in any situation to say "no" while minimizing the chances of hurting feelings. -
The Heavy Weight Of Expectations
In episode 24 we try to break down the issue of expectations in consensual non-monogamy.
It is all too common for one partners to have different (or no) expectations about events or non-monogamous life in general. These differences can too often be the source of bumps along the journey into more sexually open relationships.
We attempt to define expectations, explain why the are usually not a benefit, how they can derail happiness at events, and how to reimagine how you think and mentally prepare for events in the lifestyle.
And finally we offer our advice and how we think you can decrease your chances at leaving an event disappointed by learning shift your focus away from sex and more toward developing connections. -
April Off The Cuff
This episode was going to be April flying solo but she quickly calls Scott in when the wheels fall off. We discuss a few things that have been swirling around in that beautiful brain of hers. Everything from starting a non-monogamous commune to getting led to Jesus on the pickleball courts.

Wonderful perspective✨
I hope to run into April at a Glow Night Event so there will be someone shutting down the dance floor with us. Very much appreciate the connection approach to the LS, and the genuine respect you have for one another. Great listen.
Must listen
Great mix of laughter and serious. Always there to talk real life issues and making me feel like I’m not alone in my thoughts and the way I process things that come up.
