I like OU football talk
I like to listen to OU pfootball podcasts but you need to tighten this one up. Two hours is too long for a podcast, especially when so much time is spent BSing. Gabe, you say “Now” way too much. Sounds condescending. You come across too high and mighty. Almost unlistenable. Waaayyyy too many advertisements. Secondly, Gabe turns everything back to himself. How many “I’s” are there on this podcast. He makes everything about himself. Teddy is solid. The only reason I listen to this podcast is to get OU related football news. I like hearing about the inner workings of the business of OU football. Size of the staff, how donors can help the program, how and why coaches move around. Would like to know more details. Insight into the program is a big advantage for your podcast. Roy Williams is always a pleasure to listen to.
I’ve been an OU football fan since 1957 but never played football. Your description of 11 and 12 personnel is the first time I ever heard it described in that detail. I think most football fans would appreciate and benefit from those kind of in-depth discussions.
