Just wanted to say I’ve always loved these guys. They’re funny, knowledgeable and probably the best all-around podcast out there. However, this year they have gone the wrong direction.
George Stoia, who is a talented young man, rarely used to use foul language on his reports. He has gotten worse and worse. How does your father feel about that, George?
Eddie, who is charmingly irreverent unfortunately doesn’t know where the line is between being entertaining and indecent.
You guys are so talented, witty and funny. You’re also well educated. Surely, for the sake of families, you could consider controlling your speech, just a little bit. You all know very well, and many of you speak of your father’s on the podcast, view watching OU football as a family affair. Especially bonding for a father and a son. I know I will likely get criticized by you for saying this. But you’re setting a poor example for children. You do not have to use that kind of language. It is the way of people who are mentally lazy. Anyway, signing off from you all. I will miss your good reports, but not your language.
How hard would it be to clean that up? You can appeal to people who will tolerate that language, but also to people who do not want to hear it or expose their families to it.
Why not try to be different than everyone else who is trending more toward foul language and lazy speech?
Lastly, just to appeal to your sense of humor, how about using the Barry Switzer guide to under cussing at the very least?
Wish you all the best and happy about a great Sooner season so far.
