Hi, I’m Krista, and I love sharing the stories of massage therapists from around the world. I am constantly fascinated by the way our career allows freedom, flexibility, fun, and financial success. I find massage therapists who are living proof that we have a profession like no other that allows us to live life on our terms. Why me? I'm an RMT of 18 years and a clinic owner but, I started this podcast to share YOUR story. Not mine. YOU are the Radical Massage Therapists who inspire me each day. Thanks for being here to support our goals beyond massage, build up the profession, and enjoy life!

#102 Quantum Touch Therapy with Thea Willette

Please Note: This episode talks about fertility issues, motherhood, and miscarriages.

This episode discusses the benefits of Quantum Touch Therapy, a modality that focuses on breath and intention to move life force energy through the body for healing and balance. Thea Willette shares her personal experiences with the technique and emphasizes its ability to address underlying emotional causes of physical ailments and promote relaxation and well-being. Thea shares her experiences and insights on transitioning to a new career from ultrasound technician into energy healing, how it applies to hands on bodywork such as massage therapy and how we can use it conserve our own energy during treatments.

    About

Thea discovered Meditation and Quantum-Touch through her own fertility struggles while working as an Ultrasound Technologist at a Women’s Health & Fertility clinic. Witnessing her patients' challenges firsthand, she felt a profound intuition that there had to be another way. This led her to explore the healing power of breath, and she naturally welcomed three beautiful children into her life.

Impressed by the simplicity and effectiveness of this work, Thea became a practitioner and instructor of Quantum-Touch. This modality is so simple and natural that anyone can learn and practice it. By bringing awareness to breath and intentions, individuals can move Life Force Energy through their bodies, promoting healing and balance. Thea uses this technique daily on herself, her children, her students and clients, and even in everyday interactions.

#101 Where To Work As a Massage Therapist: Why I Chose Align Part 1 with Krista Dicks, RMT

Choosing your practice location is exciting, but, it can also be overwhelming. There are more options now than ever before when it comes to where we can work as massage therapists and then we need to consider what type of business we are going to work in as well.

I wanted to share with you the reasons why I chose to work with Align Massage Therapy back in 2009. I am now a clinic owner of Align and I wanted to go back to the beginning in this episode to break down the categories I love to talk about on this podcast: freedom, flexibility, financial success, and fun! Building a sustainable practice that allows you to really enjoy your life is a message I strongly believe in.

I have created a basic checklist for you to use as review for your next location whether you are new to the profession or considering a change. You can find the link below 👇
