What a great range of relevant topics
So happy to find this podcast- it is hard to find a podcast that covers so many current issues related to my work with teens and mental health and substance use.
These 2 do more harm than good. DON'T LISTEN!!!!
I feel so bad for their guests. The hosts insult the experts and authors by asking ignorant and immature questions. While also insulting their listeners by clearly showing they have no real, personal experience with the topics they're (trying to) cover.
Listen to episode 54- while they have a guest author who is poignant and honest and real, the hosts are trying to hide their chuckles and hysterical laughter as they're mocking him!! Every single episode has instances where they're undermining their guests -- asking why and how people could possibly be relapsing/ or anxious/ or awkward/ or depressed. They are simply the wrong set of people for this show. They do not belong, regardless of whatever brief experience they had with / with someone else in addiction.
It pains me to listen to this man and woman, basically poking fun of mental health and recovery by trying to simplify it to their narrow mindset. Shame on them for continuing this podcast knowing how disgracefully their shaming this sensitive topic.
