Hi! I’m Emily, a faith-led certified professional life coach and the chatty host of The Uncensored Self Podcast. My hope for this platform and our community is to show that I am simply relatable, honest, and real... by just doin’ me. With that, the words I speak will not be edited or cut: completely uncensored. Together we will step into the most raw, rare, and beautiful versions of ourselves. You are made to love yourself, shed your light onto others, and live in a never ending world of joy in Christ. Eyes on You
In light of Mental Health Awareness Month, this episode brings us back to the simplicity of the Gospel that saves us. It's a gentle reminder (to myself, as well) to keep our eyes on Jesus in all things. Only when we do that are we able to also have everything else it is that we want (including constant joy)!

The Best is Yet to Come
Have you been believing the lie that your prayers are bothering God? Are you getting shy in your faith? GOOD NEWS: Jesus invites us to "approach the throne of grace with fullest confidence, that we may receive mercy for our failures and grace to help in the hour of need" (Hebrews 4:16). Let us not be slave to a spirit of timidity when we have the ability to step out boldly, being reminded that He is Jehovah Jireh- the God who provides. The best is yet to come, on Earth as it is in Heaven!

You Didn't Deserve It
This week, I share my heart and struggles vulnerably. We talk through the traps of shame that the enemy keeps us in, and how the lies he feeds us ARE things that we can be set free from in Christ. We get to the root of people pleasing, idolizing others' opinions of us, and how we now get to stand with the opinion of Jesus (news flash, it's fabulous)!!! You didn't deserve the bad things that happened to you, and you will never deserve them in the future. Sister, I pray this episode reveals to you that GOD IS FOR YOU- and shame is not your portion.

Growing in Faith
This week's episode is on a topic I receive lots of questions about- How do we even grow closer to God? I preach that closeness to God is the solution to the kind of self-love that we are looking for, so this episode was so needed! Keep in mind this is not a one-size fits all, Jesus meets us each at an individual level. These are tips that have worked for me, and I pray they will bless you too! However- stick around for the last bit of advice as I do truly believe it is the most important piece in growing your faith!
