Awful post election analysis. Full of excuses and conspiracies.
Just a review on Heather Cox episode

If there was any misinformation on the internet, this is it. We are not all white males trying to gain power. Nor are we being manipulated by them. Keep that up and you will never win us over. Majority of the country doesn’t like Trump. We just find the rhetorics of the Democrats, like ones expressed in this pod cast, even worse than Trump. You forced our hands to choose Trump. Your ways are not “better” than others. If you keep thinking you are on the “right” side, people will not vote blue. This is democracy, not church. Don’t preach to us what is good versus evil. Spend more time thinking about what MAJORITY of your citizens want. You are champions of the few, and totally ignore the many. This is democracy. Majority rules. Last 8 years, you just moved too far left and lost most of us along the way.
Jon has lost himself in the left

I used to enjoy watching Jon Stewart in the 2000s. When I heard he had a podcast, I got excited and subscribed. I used to love him for his criticality, despite my political views usually different from his. Back in the 2000s he was true objectivity in a media landscape mired by bias. I just listened to the latest episode after the 2024 election and I was supremely disappointed. Nowadays, he only gets elites and wannabe professor intellectuals on the show, who are always undoubtedly far left. I just listened to an episode in which he and some nutty professor whined and pouted about the election results, lamenting how a majority of Americans voted against liberalism and democracy in favor of being duped by political propaganda, or something along those fallacious lines. It is just so mind blowing that political elites are disassociated with everyday Americans. Sure, your stats may say that the economy is doing swell, but my wallet says that things are tighter every time I go into a grocery store and buy a simple loaf of bread. Anyway, I’m just so disappointed in Jon Stewart. He’s Allied himself with the professional politicians and their cohort of academic sycophants, instead of the common hardworking laborer in West Virginia just trying to make ends meet. No wonder why Joe Rogan has eclipsed Jon Stewart and the Daily Show
