    On this episode Monica Mo, PhD, talks about her transition to entrepreneurship as founder and CEO of her creative media and brand consulting company, WellSeek. We discuss the reality and challenges of starting your own business, what health and wellness mean to her and how she helps other health professionals stay true to their authentic selves and purpose. Monica also shares great tips and insight on how entrepreneurship is a mindset game and not getting stuck in the comparison trap. 

    Monica is also the curator and editor of WellSeek Collective, a health and wellness publication featuring health professionals who are spreading science-based truth and positivity in the health and wellness space. Monica is also a Council of Directors Member at True Health Initiative Monica started her career in biotechnology specializing in genome-based metabolic engineering and data analytics. She was a member of the academic teams that pioneered the "Google map of human metabolism." Monica holds her Ph.D., M.S., in Bioengineering and B.S. in Bioengineering: Biotechnology from the University of California, San Diego.

    Nekisia Davis is the founder and creator of Early Bird Foods & Co, known for their signature granola made with olive oil, salt and love. Nekisia was managing at the famous Brooklyn pizzeria, Franny’s, when she started baking, bagging and selling her own granola. Her signature recipe and unique ingredients made her granola an immediate hit at the Brooklyn Flea and local NYC markets.
