A Woman’s Place
I am a member of the Catholic ghetto and loving it. I’ve read your books and listen to your podcast and taken away so much. Thank you! I look forward to listening so I can laugh while facing less-enjoyable duties. Regarding a woman’s role, you made many good points. Kindly listen to Lila Rose’s response to Butker’s speech. She says it better than I could and I am surprised that I agree with her even more than you regarding Harrison’s comments on women. I hope you consider what she has to say. That she has to clarify is telling of our Catholic culture.
My kids school needs to get Fulwilered
I was just turned away from the volunteer appreciation event for my kids school. My sitter got sick last minute so I grabbed drive through and iPads and was going to go anyways. When I got there, I was told no kids were allowed (even though they didn’t say anything near that on the invite). So me and 3 other moms were turned away. I went home hurt and crying and am seriously thinking of sending them a few of your podcast episodes about village. I told them we need to be a village to raise these kids and not only did I NOT feel appreciated, I felt less than because my village wasn’t as big as some others. So they need to get Fulwilered and taught village and support!
My Go-To Podcast
I’ve listened to Jen for awhile now, and I truly look forward to each episode. This is the best podcast to listen to when I’m mad about something, because Jen will inevitably get me to turn all the energy toward some off-the-wall topic. Like yes, I will now put all that pent-up energy into understanding the rap beef that honestly has no consequence for my life. And it’s the healthy choice, because the other options for dealing with that energy definitely do have consequences for my life, and not great ones 😂😂
