They do believe there is a genetic role in SIDS. Not that it was the case with the serial killer mom

Just wanted to say I love your podcast and am glad to see Tanya is continuing with her new partner. My only constructive criticism of note is to get Shannon a decent mic 💜
Stick to the old episodes.

I used to adore this show, I got my mom into it, and she had plans to get me their subscription for my birthday. I’m glad that she didn’t because, unfortunately, this podcast seems to have gone the way of My Favorite Murder. Not only were they inconsistent with their episode drops (unless you were a paid subscriber, so I guess the rest of us can pound sand), they began showing a strange bias. I noticed this first in the episode where the child murdered her family, where they all but flayed her alive for it, but then they turned the story about the man who was shot repeatedly by his SO into a story about how sad it was for her. In fact, after his murder, they didn’t mention him again like he was a footnote in his own death. That’s not like MFM, but you know what is? Prolonged stories that have very little to do with the episode. It took them nine minutes to get to the actual case (followed by the first of three ad breaks a minute and a half later), and then I proceeded to learn more about Shannon in one episode and her pregnancy than anything about either of the other hosts in fifty episodes. I loved this show because they did more obscure cases and didn’t spend too much time talking about themselves, but I guess popularity has a way of changing the format. A shame.
