My #1 favorite podcast

I listened to the first episode of season one on a whim and quickly got hooked. This is without a doubt my favorite podcast. The next episode can never be released fast enough for me. Season one is my favorite but all of it is great. If you are a fan of the true crime genre, this podcast is definitely worth a try

This guy is really dragging it out.

I really enjoy true crime stories and came upon this podcast with high hopes. To start, you could tell that the host wasn’t very seasoned. He’d take deep dives down rabbit holes that didn’t ultimately advance the story. This continues throughout the season. You’ll hear a lawyer talk about statutes of limitations for 20 minutes. That’s probably not why your listening to this podcast. In the middle of the season the case breaks and arrests are made. After that point you’d think this podcast would be full of great new information and reviews of old evidence. It’s not. There’s an episode where the host berates an accomplices girlfriend for 45 minutes I found very unprofessional. I stopped listening with two episodes to go.

Bummer audio

The reporting and story are good, but the audio quality makes some episodes unlistenable. The phone calls recorded to a mic are so distorted, I missed a lot of the important info.
