I live in the greater Bay Area but travel to Mendocino County with some regularity. Those of us with our ears to the ground here have known that Mendo has a serious problem solving crimes. This show points to a specific, overlooked and important area where law enforcement is failing. By pointing to this tiny area of Northern California this show illustrates a plague haunting all of the US and Canada. The MMIWG movement needs voices like these to help create pressure to get justice for these women and their families. The Vanishing Point also lends grace where it’s needed by tactfully handling the challenges of investigating these types of crimes. Great podcast!
